Job Title: Sous Chef
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sous Chef to join a well-established, independently operated restaurant in West London.
The kitchen focuses on high-quality seasonal ingredients, modern European influences, and fresh food prepared from scratch. The business has built a strong local reputation for delivering consistently high standards in a busy, service-led environment.
Working closely with the Head Chef, you will play a key role in leading the kitchen team, maintaining food quality, developing junior chefs, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Sous Chef Benefits:
- £45,000 basic salary
- Service charge circa £12,000 per annum
- 48-hour contract

Sous Chef brief duties:
- Support the Head Chef with all aspects of kitchen management
- Lead services in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment
- Assist with menu development and seasonal changes
- Train and mentor junior members of the brigade
- Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene standards
- Support stock control and ordering procedures
Sous Chef requirements:
- Previous Sous Chef experience within a reputable food led operation
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Calm under pressure with excellent attention to detail
- Passion for seasonal produce and quality cooking
