Job Title: Head Chef
Our client is opening a Japanese restaurant in the heart of Mayfair. The kitchen will focus on refined Japanese cooking, complemented by gentle European influences that highlight the quality of the ingredients. The owners are hands‑on, thoughtful, and committed to creating a well‑supported environment where the team can grow and the restaurant can develop at a steady, sustainable pace.

Head Chef Requirements:
- A creative head chef with a proven employment history working in award-winning restaurants, luxury hotels, and private members' clubs.
- The ideal Head Chef will have experience in some of the world’s leading Japanese restaurants and be able to draw on that background to create dishes of exceptional quality—food that can confidently stand alongside the finest Japanese cooking in London.
- You should have a minimum of two years’ experience as a Head Chef. The role includes responsibility for menu development, food cost control, due diligence, kitchen management, and all aspects of health and safety, along with the wider operational duties expected at this level.
